ChAnGe
I feel the ground rumble
beneath my feet
making my hands shake
and my knees buckle
I hear the sea roar
as the salty air whips my hair
smelling the breeze
as it wisps past me
I feel the rain fall
drop by drop
on my arms and face
as it drowns myself
in sorrow
And then I see the clouds part
as the rain pauses
the sea goes to but a whisper
and the ground sits still
And a gold light
shines down from the heavens
as the Angels sing
and God holds out his hand
Saying:
"Come, my child. It is time to change the world."
