Heartless
If I had a heart I could love you
A heart,
something so small
that contains such love
It is such an underestimated beauty,
for a heart beats strongly,
even though sometimes it is in the process
of mending its shattered walls
But where my heart should be
there is a hole
that I had never questioned
until I met you
Now though,
I can feel its absence
because if I had a heart, I could love you
the way you deserve to be loved
So if you could wait for me
under this periwinkle sky
I will come home to you
with my heart in my hands
