for every end there is always a new beginning- Unknown

Island of Shame
Sailing ship of pain
set way for the island of shame
where gentle blue seas meet
a black sandy coastline
lined with broken hearts and broken dreams
You’ll see life isn’t all it seems
when you peer deep into the thick grey forest
where the trees speak to you
they say foul words of discouragement
that will penetrate the last speck of pride
held deep inside
You scream for the heavens
but the devil answers

words do hurt on the island of shame
