White Lies
Cold puffs of white leave my lips,
I stuff my hands in my pockets,
Seeking some form of Warmth.
...
I look at the world around me,
And think for a mere moment or two,
Has the World gone crazy?
Or is my perspective just hazy?
Is this Frozen Paradise
Beautiful or Appalling?
...
I close my eyes.
I'm Trapped.
...
I feel the frigid air fill my lungs;
I only hope those around me
Know that the Frost and the Snow
Are both warmer than my Heart.
