Heat and Frost
Listen to the sound of the thunder and wish to drown as you behold heaven's tears.
Now, both insist that there is love, but soon come to terms with knowing that they're as different as Fire and Rain.
He is the Rain, smothering and suffocating her slowly.
She doesn't seem to mind at first, his drops of water do little more than pinch.
But, suddenly, she's had enough and she rekindles herself from what's left of her burnt out embers. He recoils, shocked by the fury and the passion of her blazing anger. He is abashed at her burning words and he strikes back,
his lightning only causes her flames to grow. She burns, consuming everything around her until nothing but ashes remain. Her flame sputters and burns out. She stares innocently back at him, apologetic for what she did. He welcomes her back into his embrace, his drops sting as they run down her body. But she doesn't seem to notice. After all, what's love without a little pain?
