Ocean
Our skins are like the ocean.
Calm and tranquil on the outside.
With little ripples or sometimes huge waves occurring.
Our skins are like the ocean.
An everlasting amount concealing what desires to be hidden.
Whether it's the pain
or the anger
or the loss of trust.
Whether its the misery
or the memories
or the darkness that consumes.
Whether its the hopelessness
or the urge to relapse
or the feeling of solitude.
Whether its the way you just don't know what to do anymore
or the pit you find yourself stuck in
or the feeling of worthlessness.
Whatever it is , our skins are like the ocean and it suppresses it
stifles it
smothers it .. so that those feelings don't get shown.
Our skins are like the ocean.
An everlasting amount concealing what desires to be hidden.
