The tears
The salted nectar
Trill from the ripe and swollen fruit
Of her eyes
The wan plane of her face
Grows rosy blooms of grief
Pale lily hands twist
Their waxen stems cracking
Her heart bleeds Valentine lace
The lost tears on her blouse
Glimmer like the most precious of beads
Brilliant against mourning dark
The black beauty of despair
