Toddlers in Tiaras, is this something of which i should be proud?
is this what beauty should mean to me?
little girls in highheels on stage,
instead of prancing about in mommy's closet?
little girls flaunting what they've got,
instead of flaunting thier new barbie dolls?
is this what beauty should mean to me?
little girls with caked on eyes,
but a hollow shell inside.
this is our culture.
where SWAG and YOLO is all we know,
that gives us the excuse to act like a ___?
walking around with your pants low,
and your grades lower,you should know better.
swag won't get you nowhere,
you think life will care?
life will swallow you up and spit you out.
this is our culture.
