That Water Stuff
Rain.
Falling, a spectacle so graceful,
As the sky is
Grey.
Look up:
Close your eyes.
Breathe:
Inhale.
The scent of wetness filling your nostrils,
Coursing all the way through your lungs,
Circulating throughout your body.
Exhale.
The damp, cool breeze caressing your cheeks,
Seeing your breath escape as a misty vapor,
Today is a chilly day.
Listen:
The rain, falling in sheets.
Gentle.
Ever so gentle,
The droplets kissing the pavement.
Hear them.
Pitter
Patter
Drip
Drop
Rain.
