Finally Free
From the beginning, everything’s been for me.
I really appreciate that, but please just let me be.
I have my own set of dreams, the ones that I really want,
But you never listened and just continued to taunt.
I really can’t take this anymore, will you stop pulling me down,
Now you pretend like it’s nothing and continue to frown.
You’ve taken the things and dreams important to me.
Not once did you ever listen to any of my plea.
Finally, I have the courage to take my own life.
You’ve forced me to take a step and take it with a knife.
Now I can say that I’m finally free.
You’re not here anymore to take my glee.
