Courage
I think that it’s time,
Time to let you know,
How I feel about you,
And if your feelings would show.
If we can ever be together,
Or it’s just pure fantasy?
Do I have the courage,
Or will it remain a mystery?
I’m really scared to let you know,
‘Cause you might not feel the same way.
If I ever did find the courage,
I hope that you’ll stay.
Whether as a friend or something more,
I seriously stopped caring.
I hope you can wait for the day,
For the day that I’ll be daring.
I hope you don’t avoid me,
For when that happens I won’t know what to say or do.
And all I would wish for,
Is the friendship between me and you.
But forget all that,
Because I’m still not sure,
Whether or not,
I want to tell you.
