Lie to Me
I knew you lied.
But I stayed.
I knew you hurt.
So I protected.
I know you cried.
So I held myself together.
I know you love her
But I can't get you out of my head.
It's hard to say goodbye.
So, I say, "hello" because it helps.
I want to let you go
but I have yet to hold you.
Why do you do this to me?
Is it because you don't care?
The questions I want to ask.
You'll never answer me,
so I pretend they're not there.
I love you.
Lie to me again and say you love me too.
