Encased in her cocoon
Is a butterfly
Being molded into her unique self
Wishing to spread her wings and fly

Just like this butterfly
So are you

You’re beautiful as yourself!
Don’t think you aren’t
People may think you’ll lose
But they don’t know how strong you really are

Just like this butterfly
So are you

One day you’ll spread your wings and fly
And they’ll truly see your beauty!
For as Someone so wisely once said
You are fearfully and wonderfully made

Just like this butterfly
So are you

Awww, just what I needed to read this morning :). I liked how you changed the free verse about talking about yourself into the audience. My favorite part was when you added God's words of, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made"! You need to write more poetry, no must! Please?
