Alive
I sit here waiting all alone
For night to fall and death to come
I sit here waiting all alone
For death to come and take me home
He comes for me like a thief in the night
And here I see before my eyes
The cries of my children, my brother, my wife
And the in a flash Hope is there
And I take flight
Gone, gone, gone I fly
Away against the heavenly sky
And then I awake and here shouts of surprise
For I am not dead, but surely alive
