penetrating curtains of fog-veiled darkness
shining ever so brightly
on the landscape;
an impenetrable blanket of white covering its vast features

Suddenly, there is a stir of animation
as mother nature finally opens her eyes and yawns
ultimately releasing
the power of life.

Radiating light and flooding the surroundings with
energy and enthusiasm,
The once frozen, lifeless pond,
is now filled with vibrant spirits.

Birds fly out of their nests
fluttering their wings in excitement,
while chirping in a cheerful tone
as they bring a wonderful variety of music
that fills the atmosphere.

Meanwhile, on a branch nearby,
a bud steadily sprouts
starting the cycle of a leaf’s journey
A sign of rebirth.

The freezing days of winter
are finally forgotten;
the burden suddenly lifted
as all living souls thrive.
Some just born to the world
others at their climax.

The hint of joy and livelihood spreads,
marking the arrival of spring,
Where all creatures
