Graceful Leaves
A fall leaf dances in the radiant sky
It is like a graceful swan swaying to and fro, tree to tree.
Its delicate pattern, so fragile it could break by touch.
By now it has practiced, because it has been rehearsing its fluent curtsy’s and loops through the wind for eternity.
It makes a soft whistling sound on the stage. Swoosh, swoosh, and swoosh.
But softly its audience begins to fade.
Ever so graceful the leaf falls to the ground to end its rehearsals’.
Just to start it again.
