Mr. Player Plays a Game
He plays a game we hate to love.
I watched and learned a lesson.
That Mr. Player from Liverpool.
His confidence was revolutionary.
In reality, he enjoys a few minutes,
then “game over!” for you.
Yes, he’s been lucky;
taking souls for fun.
But if there’s one lesson I learned from it;
from this game of losing purity.
It’s too addictive,
too crude,
and extraordinarily difficult.
Instead of playing this game of hate and love,
I’ll play Flappy Birds instead.
