Royal Blue
My eyes,
I can’t tare them from his body,
As he glides on thin metal blades.
His long legs hold my gaze,
As they spin and jump,
Clad plainly in royal blue.
The blonde,
Sharp nosed Canadian,
His face solemn as he captivates.
He seems to control the ice,
Using it to his favor.
The judges are unimpressed,
But I couldn’t look away for a moment,
fearing that I would miss his graceful beauty,
His lanky arms, legs, and torso,
All working in unison.
He took my breath away.
