I Remember...
I remember memories that torture this Soul
That Girl back then was Weak
What she was, was Scared
As a child being stupid, and playing around is pretty much part of the deal
But who I was
and what I remember
Is a girl to scared to tell her friend No, because she threatened her,
she wouldn't be her friend anymore
A girl who refused to be herself and hide behind an Allusion
That past of those continuous decisions
Make me stop and say
What the F***!
Why?
Why, pretend to be happy
When sadness truly clutches your soul
Because as cheesy as it sounds
The Truth will set you free,
But me being quiet and savoring all those lies
Concede with this vicious cycle of life...
But although I remember that
I remember I Found my way
I remember finding people, who were out of the norm
Who choose to be different, to be weird
These people thought me to not listen to the voices of reason, of judgment to, Hone my own voice
The Tragedy of life is that you must not let others sculpt the person you become
You Must find your way, and ask yourself,
Who...
Am I?
Cause that Question right there,
Opens your mind to the Endless possibilities
This world provides succeedingly.
