I endure you and you endure me.
I know you like your tea strong,
And you drink it in my NatGeo cup.
I want to wake up to your soundless sips,
Even though I’d ruin the moment with slurps.
You look stunning in your button down,
And your big eyes laugh at me
As I run my fingers through your hair.
