Hurricane
Thunder reminds me
That there’s still a voice to be heard.
One small, barely audible declaration
Can boom over millions.
One tiny spark
Can send bolts of lighting
Racing across weeping stars.
You say you haven’t any wings;
Grow them and soar.
You say you haven’t any light;
Find it and beam.
You say you haven’t a slightest clue
Of what’s to come,
But I promise
If you merely act as the thunder,
The storm won’t be far behind.
