6 Feet Under

The noisy cemetery awakens me from my sleep
I walk into the once quiet resting place
And it comes alive
It is full of happiness and remembrance
And a feeling of rebirth floods me
A friendly hand gently leads me
To the center of the crowded gathering
I look around to see excited faces
With stories on their lips waiting to be told
I belong here now
Buried 6 feet under, but still roaming around
My sorrowful tears turn into joy
And love and acceptance fill my heart
I smile.
