"(The Will to Live) Free"

All my life, I'd thought of the future as a prewritten, scripted plan that I'd follow-
no adventure, no surprise-
just a plan-
But I don't want a plan:
I want spontaneousness
I want joy and happiness
I want to drive 3,000 miles only to go nowhere
and sleep under cloudless skies along the way
I simply want simplicity- after all,
I've always been told that the simple things are the best things.
I want to love and to live and the will to live
Freely.
The will to live, the will to be free.
