I Have Lived
"I know how you will miss him."
She blinked forcefully,
shaken awake
And she answered
"At the end,
a lack of closeness
does not need you and will not miss you.
And, void of closeness,
would I have lived?"
Worlds painted heartbreaking images
She
was too stubborn. She refused to be one.
She danced with grief and
sang for joy
She
let herself forget to ache for permanence
She says
"I have lived.
I have lived."
