Fading
In Seventh grade you were that awkward kid that Britney would make fun of
I was te girl that stood up to her even though it was my first day as well
I showed you hope and we shared a friendship and sisterly love
We survived middle school, while it may have been trudgingly we walked through Hell
And even though our friendship and sisterly love is fading
I will always remember the time we shared as sisters, close kin
We may be two different colors far away on a scale of white to black dissipating
I will never know another like you ever again
