Golden Chocolate

Inside I’m a deep, dark, chocolate brown–
swimming in pools,
clouding cold crystal waters,
forming swirls and delicately bold waves.
Outside I’m a glimmering golden yellow–
forming halos and radiating sunshine.
Smiling flashes of blinding brightness.
Swirling or sparkling– I’m still always me.
