Nothing can compare
to the feeling I get
when I look into her eyes,
blue like a cloudless summer sky.
Thinking of her is really nothing more than counting;
counting the steps until I'm near her,
counting the seconds until I see her,
counting the moments when we're apart.
When I look into her deep, blue eyes
my soul lights ablaze like the dark red of her hair.
The harmonious echo of her laugh,
the beaming glow of her smile,
the soothing melody of her voice,
Maria:
the girl who sets my heart on fire.
