Here Nor There
Neither here nor there
But somewhere in between
Not for one or the other, but for both
To give a voice to the voiceless, a home to the homeless and equality to all
The path will be long and treacherous
But need not be one of war or hate
This path will be of peace and acceptance
Of Black, White, and all those in between
This path is being followed
In the heart of New York
Led by all those whom are segregated
The one who leads them is one of crossed blood
Plowing a road to freedom for all
Using art, music and voice to clear the roads of Harlem
To make it safe and equal for all.
