The words I sow
Oh why do you plague yourself with words you cannot find
and let those imbecile lies keep coming every time?
It's only a matter of days before they hit you and break
Everything that is you, everything trying to escape
All the days crying, and all the days the same
No angels and devils roam the streets, they say
But underneath your cloak
And under my facade, I see a glimmer of hope
I'm not alone, it says
And I read it in your eyes, and I hear it through your words
Everything that I'm trying to be,
Sometimes won't work
And though you'll probably never
read the words I sow
I hope you know I love you
and that you're not alone.
