Rainbow Colors

I represent a variety of rainbow colors--
creative combinations for a creative spirit
beautiful and colorful, I shine through grey skies
but those colors, cloaked under a cloud, remain hidden.
I also represent black and white--
on the outside, appearing dull and lifeless
I can’t help it if I’m shy and cold on the outside
I guess I fear what others will think of my colors.
