What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from. T.S Eliot

As the Black Moon sets and the Blood Sun rise
The army trudges on
Honor awaiting, regrets left behind
The army marches on
Horror disguised as riches ahead, grief disguised as excitement on their backs, Betrayal disguised as love not for behind
The army travels on
Trust in their minds, doubt in their hearts
The army charges on
Blade kissing flesh, blood embracing earth
The army comes to a halt
Their eyes finally open, a realization too large for their wills
The army falls to its knees
Their own blood spilt, from the hearts of their families
The army crumbles to the ground
Their they lay begging for forgiveness, tortured by questions unanswered
The army roams on
A curse laid upon them, derived from the blood of innocence
The army drifts apart
As light carves out darkness, forgiveness pierces their hearts
The army rises, absolved
All that is left behind, are prints within the sand
