I am a Hedgehog

All alone sitting upon the lush grass,
the hedgehog gathers in the world around him.
A soft breeze, the shimmering sun and a quiet rustle of leaves.
A predator slyly approaches,
while the hedgehog rests without a clue.
Reserved, relaxed and innocent.
A crunch of a leaf suddenly startles him;
he curls up in a tight ball.
Shy, weak and scared.
