I am Darren King
I play the drums with a shot of intensity
The drum set is brought to life when played by me
But the road has been lengthy
Like every person, I started out at a low point
I found that pride couldn’t be in the presence when learning
So I had to swallow it and become humble
Now, when the spotlight is on, my pride rises
But I recall how I started out,
I remember to be humble again
Being humble makes me a better and friendlier person to others
That’s why I am Darren King
