I am Batman

I am the silent guardian, a watchful protector… the Dark Knight. I am the rooftop defender I protect Gotham disregarding myself. I am whatever Gotham needs me to be. I am intelligent enough to know what Gotham needs despite what it might deserve. I am resilient, when a man in a gas mask breaks my back and leaves me in a literal hole and a figurative hole in the plot I do not stay down. I rise. As a man I can be destroyed but as a symbol I am everlasting.
