I am a Tree

I like to grow, what else is ther to know
From a small seed, deep in the ground what
else is there to need
I sprout in the ground below, creating a green
glow
Which way to the surface, I need to find my
purpose what comes and blocks the way
will go away someday
The sun shines as I bud in the grassy sudd
To grow is all I know, and bring oxygen into
the air, without a care just doing what I can
that’s the plan
