I am a Bass

I am a Bass, Something loud,
It is heard throughout space, someone bound to hear!
It states its case, never afraid for the E string to be played,
The backing for the guitar, to bring it up and enhance the piece.
Loud and booming and never unheard, from anyone in the area
Deep and low for the tones I play, even when the guitar comes for a chord
Until I’m unplugged, all out of juice,
but then the drums give me a boost!
