Mirror
Every night before bed, I check my mirror.
But, what I see staring back is much deeper than my reflection.
It’s everyone screaming my flaws so loudly at me;
My sheer hatred for myself had grown since high school started.
Every night during this time, my emotions are merely chaos,
Slamming from one side to another.
Until eventually, I’m left breathless.
Why do others have that I lack?
The ability to have long-lasting chemistry.
