Time.
Time.
What is time?
The concept humans
Mere mortals have created
To explain their world
How day turns to night?
How fast a heart beats?
An explanation of how the weather changes
And why the environment changes
Thou canst conceive time
Time is but the abstract concrete
That humans allow themselves
To believe in. A hollow truth
Time is the passing of moments
That slip through fingers
Like grains of sand
And dust to dust
Dust, which humans become
Their time gone from them
Life gone by in a flash
Memories of happier days
Memories are a curious thing
They make people live
Enjoy a moment of life
That can never come again
Memories of mine elude me
If I would try,
I could remember
Every second of my mere life
But even then,
Years would pass as I recount
The few experiences which
I wish to recall
I am the one who transcends time
The one who started the myth
The soul who keeps it running
And who will stop it
I am the one which is the end
The end of all time
