Midnight Car Ride
There is something special about driving at night.
Maybe it’s the indescribable feeling of having your windows down
And the wind whipping through your hair as you race down the road
Or maybe it’s that the only thing staring back at you are streetlights
There are no people around
It is just you and the open road
No distractions or stress that you have to endure
It is like a mini vacation, a well-deserved break
You blast your music through the speakers
And sing along as if you don’t have a care in the world
For just a couple minutes, you feel invincible
Nobody can touch you or hurt you
You have a carefree state of mind and you love it
Maybe that is when you should take time to ponder and realize
That your life is better when looked at in a beautiful way
If you don’t stress over the little things,
You will be a much happier person
So don’t assume everything is bad
Look at the glass half full instead of half empty
And if you ever feel overwhelmed
Stop, think, and change your mindset
If that still doesn’t work... go for a car ride at midnight.
