Nothing's impossible, just improbable.

Said the deer to the ant
"What is it like
Being so small?"
The and replied
"Small"
Ant again-
"You. You are so big.
Are you a god?"
The deer
Perplexed
Answered
"No. To God I'm nothing
But an ant."
"Then what am I
To Him?"
Asked the ant

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece at a retreat with other teens. We had reflection time after a brief talk on sinfulness. I thought about how small I was compared to the world and how small an ant is compared to other animals. I realized that even people with large personalities are just the same as I am. This poem comforted me, and made me feel that God does notice me.

I really llike the shortness of the poem, and the thoughtfulness.  It's very simple and sweet.  I love the abrupt ending.  Spectacular work.
