if happiness is what you seek
you will not find it here
not among the broken fragile pieces of my soul
nor in my heart mangled beyond repair
if happiness is what you seek
you shall not find it here
for I have hidden my tattered wings
and forsaken my haven among the clouds
if happiness is what you seek
I'm afraid you will not find it here
for I only breathe in misery
and will drown you in despair
(take a step back
let loose my hand
release your grasp)
if happiness is what you seek
I say you look elsewhere
