The Motion
In the middle of a trillion stars
A million miles away from mars
Up above but not in blue
Where the colors all but spew
With a painters brush in hand
Up in space nowhere to land
In this space there is a world
And in that world a little girl
Who walks upside down upon herself
Who is surrounded by greed and wealth
Peering but what does she see?
The person who she wants to be?
In the middle of a trillion stars
A million miles away from mars
A little girl turns away
From her image painted grey
What is one meant to be
When the rest cannot see?
When you look what do you see?
The person who you want to be?
An image that is painted black?
All the things that you lack?
The beautiful person that you are?
Or the remains of a dim lighted star?
