Wish I understood
When I look into his eyes I see a little boy that is confused. I can see that he's struggling. He's not sure why he is feeling this way. He can't control how he's acting, people can see there's something not right, he's just not the same. Not the same. He used to love school and now, now it's the total opposite. He refuses to go. He says he hates it. He never wants to go back! He asks my momma everyday if he's gonna go to hell and when. Why is he doing this? What is wrong? I wish I understood. I grab his hands and say, Mason talk to me. Please tell me what is going through your head right now. He screams, don't touch me! I look at him, I see anger in his eyes. Why is he so mad? What is going on in there? I wish I knew. It's almost as if he's in another world. Or like people are controlling his mind. It kills me. It kills me to see my baby brother this way. Why him? Why? What did he ever do to deserve this illness? I hope someone can help him. I hope someone can save him from this nightmare. Nightmare, if only. If only this was all just a nightmare.
