LIFE OF A "SOMEONE"
Diving into the deep;
I touch the core of the Earth
I meet creatures hidden in the smallest niche
I laugh, sing and dance in the greenish-blue.
Diverse roles are played by me
Where I, a vagabond
Seek homage, wherever I tire
This big mansion is all mine.
Although immense my duties may be,
I portray two faces in general
One which entertains mankind
While the other which serves my people.
Sometimes, the tedious strides
Taken by my life
Leaves me alone
When I recollect myself, here beneath.
Gazing at the faint beam of sunlight
I hear toddlers utter my name.
It’s only then that my faces relax –
The strains of fulfilling my duties, relax – I’ve done it!
But who am I in your eyes?
What do I do according to you?
Sorry, I don’t know that
For, it’s up to you to see my either face!
