The Lily

There sat a Lily not fully bloomed.
The sun came up in the morning,
The air was perfumed
By the trees which overhead loomed.
All the grass were the flowers adorning.
The Lily sat smiling
Making the whole world cheery.
The land was beguiling.
Our shadows were hiding.
But the Lily swayed in the breeze, freely.
