The Riddle of You
Your face—
so hard to read
hidden so deeply inside
Soft and rarely spoken,
are your words
leaving nothing to
your eyes
I try to figure
figure you out
try to decode
the riddle of you
You are strange
the things you do
the way you move
the shape of your way
But it’s there
and it charms
and somehow
lures me in
Because
maybe one day
I’ll figure it out
and solve the puzzle
you’ve neatly laid out
