This is not a cry for help
But on for pleasure
For my cheeks have missed hurting
My eyes have missed wrinkling
My teeth have missed showing
My dimple has missed being
And my mind has missed the delight
Of a smile

I wrote this piece about a time that I was really stressed and pressured. It helped me release the feelings I had. I really wanted to smile. I was in need of a genuine smile.
