Full Moon
It was quiet, the moonlight shinning
Your hair was waving with wind
You did not see me….but it’s not like you ever did
It was dank in my little hiding space but I got a clear view
Of your body silhouetted against the trees
You turned to walk away
I sighed as I watched you, knowing you’d never realized I was there
Every night watching you
Writing about the way your light brown hair flew across your face
Or the way your tall lean body would stand so still it seemed as if time stopped
I was fascinated with you in a way I could never begin to explain
My only outlet was those nights I saw you
Every full moon
When your body transformed into a beautiful white wolf
When you ran off into the night.
