You Are My Everything
“Do you like me?” I asked him.
His eyes went wide. “Is it obvious?”
I laughed nervously. “Yes.”
He slowly smiled.
***
“You are the most beautiful
girl I have ever met;
I don’t know how I lived
without you.”
“You don’t have to anymore.”
We held hands. His eyes were
as deep as the ocean and just
as blue as it.
“If I told you I love you on the
first date, would you call me
crazy? Or would you smile?”
I looked at him, smile growing.
“I can’t say…” I laughed.
“I have finally found someone
who understands me.” He
whispered softly in my ear.
“I don’t want to lose you,”
He continues. “You are my
everything.”
