Was It Worth It?
Too many people
Have touched my soul with dirty hands
Have let their fingers leave gritty traces upon my skin
Have taken away pieces of my heart and gave them away
But I never tried to stop them
Because I wanted them to be happy
And if my sadness brought you joy; then it was worth it.
